Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine And Surgery programme.-
The Bachelor of Ayurveda education namely, the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) shall produce Graduates, having profound knowledge of Ashtanga Ayurveda along with the contemporary advances in the field of Ayurveda supplemented with knowledge of scientific and technological advances in modern science and technology along with extensive practical training, as an efficient physicians and surgeons for the health care services.

- The eligibility to seek admission in Bachelor of Ayurveda education shall be as under,- a.The candidate shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and have obtained minimum of fifty per cent. Marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the case of general category and forty per cent. marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes: Provided that in respect of persons with disability candidate specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said examinations shall be forty-five per cent. in the case of General category and forty per cent. in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.
- No candidate shall be admitted to B.A.M.S Degree programme unless the candidate attained the age of seventeen years on or before the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the programme and not more than twenty-five years on the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the programme:
